The QEL Installer should install the .elm files though right?

EDIT:  Never mind, I found the map files for QELServ in C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Eternal Lands\updates\1_8_0\maps

I copied and pasted them in the Program Files\Eternal Lands\maps directory.  

Now I see what you mean about all the 3D objects.  

Is that why I'm receiving this message?

IF (and I hope not) they really are done with this project, I wonder if they would consider releasing the source to someone that would continue it ...

I doubt it ... they have been working on it since 2008 ... off and on of course.  That would be a lot of time to just throw away.  They all just like to take (very) extended vacations.
