As far as I tested, it all it seems working properly. I would just cut down a bit on the trees on the first place. It's just a little bit annoying for a new player to chase the little rodents with all the trees. What can I comment more about.. def xp seems endless without fleeing :P. Oh and my #ping is around 900. But I heard that also will be solved over time. As far as I know, there is no way of testing out the armor and weapons, since I didn't find a way to make gold coins yet. ;) I'm off to bed now, keep the project going guys. All seems fine, apart from the ping side of things, is a little laggy.. And the tree's too.. Is soemthing that makes EL a pain, lets have less tree's :D Looks good though, can't wait to test more. Just some info: Due to some recent changes to the way certain types of exp is gained, i've had to re-setup creature stats. Right now i've only done up to foxes, and all stats are still very preliminary. The way creatures spawn and their current locations wont be the same by beta stage, atm the town map has heaps of creatures on it, this is an example of something that doesn't make too much sense from a roleplay perspective and will change. Which maps connect to where and what map you start on will all probably change. If you have, you need to ensure that the link points to whatever it is for EL but with the server's name added to the end. So if EL is: Code: C:\Program Files\EL\el.exe Code: C:\Program Files\EL\el.exe qelserv Note that the qelserv part refers directly to the name in the server.lst file so if you changed that name, then the link must be changed too. I like the basic concept of it all.. and at 1st i was really taken in by the leveling with the swords.. training a/d.. but when i get to a/d 18/9.. its kinda obvious that the training with swords completly outpowers your defence and makes it nearly impossible to lvl.. i even pvp'd with bigkav for a while and we could barely lvl def.. in regards to def exps, check that out... also, rationality exp bonus for def is quite good ;) EDIT: If after a while of playing myself and key testers agree def exp is coming in too slow, we'll see about making it so it can be earned faster. i found a bug that you probably already know of but what the heck. when i lagged out whilst fighting the creature i was fighting got stuck fighting and could no longer move or be attacked. also is the double attack rate of the creatures whilst the player tries to flee a feature? i seem to sometimes get server resyncs whilst trying to flee too. Sure it's still a bit slow, and there's things to be done, and eeeks I got pwnt by an imp -.- but the starter island is a great place. I encountered anima's rat, it seems stuck in combat. Harvested some fruits and love that you're able to eat and just keep on harvesting. I hope it stays :P

When I created a character I get "TalixiM" in purple and "Admin" behind my name in yellow. I don't get any exp when fighting and when I attack they just disappear. Also I cannot harvest anything. with all that i was getting ~22 def exp from goblins.. though i was overpowering them with my monster attack.. the little def exp i 'did' get . was nice.... but my point.. it makes it alot easier to train def.. just pump up your reasoning and dont use a sword.... i understand that its seperate from attack.. so thats cool.... ohh and about the bug.. if you repeated the bug it put the players attack and OA to normal. I also like the nice amount of gc dropped by brownies, will be nice and simple for newbies to start off in the game. Just a small suggestion: instead of just dropping gold, I think less rare items such as some potions, essence, minor swords, and armour be dropped more frequently just to keep things more interesting. gc gets boring after a while. keep up the good work. This is caused by the fact that the item is equippable and stackable. To my knowledge, EL had a slight issue with this in the past too. Only 2 items in all of EL (I think) are like this, namely bones and sticks. I will be sorting this out but as there is a work around, and it isn't a MAJOR bug, and the fix isn't really, really simple... it hasn't been done yet. When you flee mobs attack 2x as fast, pro for def training I guess :> Also when you spawn when you die, if there is a rabbit/rat right in front of you you can't move out, and you can't kill them as they're underwater. afaik in EL you can click on the health bar to attack stuff. I believe his solution was that you can still attack by clicking the body while they are under water (it changes to attack cursor when over it) but Korrode tells me it doesn't work with mud which sucks.
