OK the qelserv forums and website have been moved to a hosted machine in the US. This means:
1. Not running out of my house, therefore:
a. IP address won't change (causes site to be unavailable to people with slow DNS updating ISPs)
b. No dropouts (caused by power failures, tripping on cords or Internet down-time)
2. Uberer speed for most
Additionally, as the email is no longer being sent from a less reputable host IP (I have my own now
) it should probably work to dodgy mail servers (such as one's owned by Microsoft: msn, hotmail, live).
And yes, the next tech demo will most likely be there too so....
BETTER PING TIMES FOR ALL!!!!!!!!11..
... Well, except Korrode and I who had pings of about 20ms (well I had 5ms actually but don't tell him).
PLEASE let me know if you notice anything not working correctly etc including emails (yes, even including ones to hotmail). Thanks
